Privacy policy

About this policy

This policy covers Theoria’s first offline release for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. This release does not offer account creation or cloud sync. The same local privacy protections apply to children and adults.

On this device

Theoria stores learning progress, review and practice outcomes, unfinished answers, exploration context, settings and any structured correction notes you choose to save on your device. Search words stay in memory and are cleared when you leave search. A map point selected in an exercise is an answer, not your physical location. Theoria does not request your device’s location.

Internet and other services

The lessons, source references, simulations and this policy are bundled for offline use. Account services, cloud sync and networked AI-written knowledge are not enabled in this release. Theoria does not upload your learning data. No advertising, app analytics or cross-app tracking is enabled. Your operating system and app store may process downloads and optional diagnostics under their own policies, separately from Theoria’s local learning records.

Retention and your choices

Learning records are stored on this device. Clear local progress resets the current learning records; it does not delete any damaged data copy you previously chose to keep when starting fresh. To clear progress and related saved learning state, open Local settings, choose Clear local progress and confirm. Display preferences such as appearance may remain after clearing progress. Removing the app or losing or damaging your device may remove your local data. Theoria does not provide cloud backup or account recovery in this release.

Children

This release does not create accounts, collect dates of birth or ask children for contact details. Children and their parents or guardians can use the same local settings to clear learning progress. Children should ask a parent or guardian before contacting support.

Changes to this policy

The policy included with an app version describes that version’s features. Before a future release enables accounts, cloud sync or other data collection, its privacy policy and store declarations must be updated to describe that behavior.
